The Australian internet advertising market increased 11.6% year-on-year to reach $4.2bn spend for the March 2025 quarter, according to the IAB Australia Internet Advertising Revenue Report (IARR).
The Report, which is prepared by PwC Australia, found that video investment has significantly increased, achieving 23.3% growth year on year to reach $1.165bn. Search and directories increased 10% year on year to reach $1.896bn spend for the quarter, while classifieds expenditure increased 7.8% to $660m. Display (excluding video) grew just .9% year on year to reach $461m and audio expenditure increased 18% to reach $77.3 million.
